Embroidery: A Stitching Guide for Beginners

Produce works of art embroidered with a single type of stitch, including patches for clothing and accessories. Make unique gifts and home decor on a single piece of cloth that includes several designs created with a single type of stitch.
Design a Room

If you are creative and passionate about designing spaces, interior design might be perfect for you. Learn to draw architectural symbols and plans, and then use your new skills to create a perspective drawing of a room of your own design. Take inspiration from works in the exhibition The Casablanca Art School: Platforms and Patterns for a Postcolonial Avant-Garde (1962–1987).
Risograph Printing

Learn about the Japanese Risograph printing technique and its history, along with skills such as solid and gradient composition and colour layering. Use inks to produce an expressive artwork inspired by the works of artist David Koloane.
Monoprinting

Investigate the monoprinting technique through the Rorschach test—one of the most important tests in psychology—in which ink blots are analysed to reveal features of personality. Create prints inspired by this experiment that reflect abstract form and movement.
Mega Weaving
Ages 15+

Team up with others on a collective weaving project that will be completed throughout the day. Using wool and threads of different colours, fashion abstract lines and shapes to form a large woven piece.
Digital Fashion Sketching
Ages 15+

Using the Procreate app, draw detailed fashion designs on a mannequin. Highlight different elements in the fabric through colour.
