Transforming photos with bleach

Transform ordinary photos into dreamy images through the process of bleaching. After familiarizing yourself with the chemical process, you can experiment with various light and colour effects.

Printing with Gel

Learn the Figurative Art

Get to know the illustrations and their function in representing words or phrases. Your own symbols will be crafted, driven by conveying your ideas and playing with the weight of the line, simplicity, and colour in your unique series of illustrations.

Create innovative multimedia art

Join us in creating an artistic Arabic calligraphy piece using various media such as canvas, paper, cork, and wood in a mixed-media style.

Creating relief prints using styrofoam
Ages: 6 to 10 years

Enhance your relief printing skills. Carve designs into styrofoam sheets, adding compositional details such as shapes, contrasting shading, and lines. Apply coloured inks, and create prints by pressing the inked plates directly onto watercolour paper.

Making refrigerator magnets
Ages: 6 to 10 years

Unleash your creativity while creating refrigerator magnets using air-dry clay. After shaping the clay, you can paint it with lively designs and add magnets. You can keep your creations as unique pieces of art.

Learning Arabic calligraphy in Chinese style

EARLY LEARNING PROGRAMME

Making a kite 
Family Workshop

Dates:  Sunday, 28 January 2024

Enjoy making a kite with your family members and make it fly. Use stakes in the frame to connect and secure it with threads. Then add the sail (cover), the bridle, and the tail. When the kite is ready, you can test it in the Art Square.

Tour with us the Casablanca Art School exhibition

Join us on a visit to an art exhibition at the Sharjah Art Museum featuring many Moroccan artists. Following the exhibition, there will be a workshop on sculpting with topological patterns inspired by their works in the post-independence era.

Discovering the art of stitching and binding

Join us in a two-session course where we'll start by reviewing the history of Japanese bookbinding. We will lay the foundations for participants to understand the concept and craft books using specialized tools, handmade paper, and linen threads to create albums or artistic binders.
